- The single-applicant amount increased by $553.
- Including the applicant, a family of two needs $29,192 for living expenses; three need $35,888; four need $43,572.
- Quebec has separate financial requirements.

Single applicant outside Quebec: $22,895 in annual living expenses.
Current position
Single applicant outside Quebec: $23,448, excluding tuition and transportation.

- Students applying under the standard financial-support requirements from the effective date.
- Families budgeting for accompanying dependants.
What this means for you
- The minimum is not a complete study budget. Build separate tuition, travel and living-cost estimates.
- Funding must be available without relying on work in Canada. Longer programs also require a plan for later years.
