2. What GuideCAN Provides

GuideCAN provides educational information, checklists, calculators, planners, directories, AI-powered tools, and other resources intended to help users organize and understand life in Canada.

Information may become outdated or may not apply to every user, province, territory, program, product, or circumstance.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for information you provide through your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You should not share passwords or use another person's account without permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use GuideCAN to violate applicable law, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, impersonate another person, abuse automated systems, scrape or copy the service at scale without permission, or misuse information about other users.

5. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing important information before relying on it.

GuideCAN does not guarantee that AI-generated content is current, error-free, or suitable for making legal, immigration, financial, tax, insurance, health, employment, housing, or other significant decisions.

6. Third-Party Websites, Providers & Offers

GuideCAN may link to government websites, employers, schools, financial institutions, insurers, retailers, marketplaces, service providers, or other third parties. These services are independent from GuideCAN.

We do not control third-party availability, pricing, eligibility, policies, security, accuracy, or performance. You should review the third party's own terms and privacy practices before using it.

Some links or placements may be sponsored or affiliate links. When applicable, GuideCAN should clearly label commercial relationships.

7. Your Content

You retain responsibility for content you choose to enter into GuideCAN. You should only submit information you have the right to use and should avoid entering unnecessary confidential or sensitive information.

8. Availability & Changes to Features

We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that every feature, integration, provider, or piece of content will always be available.

9. Important Disclaimers

GuideCAN is provided for general informational and organizational purposes. You should verify important information with the relevant official government source, regulator, licensed professional, employer, school, financial institution, insurer, healthcare provider, or service provider before acting.

Calculators, readiness scores, comparisons, estimated costs, and AI plans are planning tools only and do not guarantee eligibility, approval, savings, employment, immigration outcomes, benefits, claims, housing, financing, or any other result.

10. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, GuideCAN is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general informational content, AI-generated content, third-party services, expired offers, external website changes, or information users enter incorrectly.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use as GuideCAN changes. The effective date at the top of this page will indicate the latest published version.
